Its In Our Blood
Originally called the King's Head, we were built in 1780 by Philip Vincent. That particular name signified that we were the most important local inn at the time.
It wasn't until 1900 when William Tyacks purchased the inn, changing our name to Tyacks Hotel. We stayed within the family for close to 100 years.
Today we are a tenanted hotel and pub with St. Austell Brewery. We are proud of our Cornish heritage - it's in everything we do. Our high quality produce is sourced from local suppliers. Our bar is stocked with some of the best Cornish drinks around, including ales, lagers, and spirits.
